2018 Duck Pond

What is the Duck Pond?

Nonprofit Village and Montgomery College have partnered to provide a "Shark Tank" style event. Participants will outline their nonprofit concept to a panel that includes experts in nonprofit program development, fundraising, marketing, finance, and law. Duck Pond participants will learn how to define their mission better, generate operating strategies, identify partners and formulate the foundation for their organization's compliance program.

Present your startup nonprofit and receive:

  • Immediate access to feedback from industry experts
  • Recommendations on how to move you from idea to action
  • Connections to resources and expertise to develop your vision

FounderTrac Finale & Pitch Day

FounderTrac is a partnership between Maryland Technology Council, LAUNCH! Annapolis, MCVC Partners and TEDCO to bring a community-based accelerator to Annapolis. Through a rigorous selection process 10 companies were accepted into the first cohort of 2018. The cohort has worked together and independently with mentors, advisors, subject matter experts and investors over a 4-month period of time.

The FounderTrac Cohort is ready to pitch their companies to investors and they want you to attend. Seats are filling up quick. Twenty two investors have already registered for this event.
