The Upcounty region consists of several communities in Montgomery County, including: Gaithersburg, Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus, Goshen, Laytonsville, Derwood, North Potomac, Darnestown, Boyds, Montgomery Village, Barnesville, Dickerson, Poolesville, Washington Grove, Beallsville, Hyattstown and Tobytown.

The Bethesda-Chevy Chase region includes Montgomery County’s Bethesda, Cabin John, Chevy Chase, Friendship Heights, Garrett Park, Glen Echo, North Bethesda, Potomac, Rockville, and Twinbrook communities.

The Midcounty region includes Ashton, Aspen Hill, Brookeville, Capital View, Derwood, Forest Glen, Glenmont, Kemp Mill, Kensington, Layhill, Norbeck, Olney, Sandy Spring, Upper Rock Creek, and Wheaton communities.

The East County communities in Montgomery County, include: Burtonsville, Briggs Chaney, Burnt Mills, Calverton, Colesville, Cloverly, Fairland, Hillandale, Ashton, parts of Sandy Spring, Spencerville, and White Oak.

The Silver Spring region encompasses Rock Creek Park and the Prince Georges County line, the area south of I-495 to the District of Columbia, including all of the City of Takoma Park, & Four Corners neighborhoods north of I-495.
