Maryland’s Montgomery County new J.O.B.S. (Jobs, Opportunities, and Business Support) Initiative totals $20 million in funding available to local companies to foster growth, innovation, and economic equity.
The initiative includes three separate funds: The Job Creation Fund, Technology Innovation Fund and Founders Fund.

Job Creation Fund
The $10 million Job Creation Fund offers businesses a powerful incentive to expand their workforce. Eligible companies may receive up to $10,000 in grants per new job created. For businesses located in Community Equity Index disadvantaged areas, this award increases to $12,000 per job.

Technology Innovation Fund
The $7 million Technology Innovation Fund offers early-stage companies in select industries and developing proprietary technology with up to $200,000 in grant awards for commercialization projects.

Founders Fund
The $3 million Montgomery County Founders Fund offers companies that have historically lacked access to capital with up to $100,000 in grant awards for a commercialization project that is key to business growth.
