Montgomery County Leads the State on the 2024 Inc. 5000 List

Montgomery County, Md. – Montgomery County has 39 companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America—the most of any jurisdiction in the state of Maryland. Companies on this prestigious annual list are ranked according to overall percentage revenue growth from 2020 through 2023.
The Montgomery County companies include a cross-section of industries—56% of which are technology companies—and account for 35% of Maryland’s total representation.
The highest-ranking company in the region is Rockville’s Autosled Inc., which debuted at No.12 in the nation based on its average annual revenue growth of 14,001%. Rockville’s Chaberton Energy was the second highest at No.34, with an annual revenue growth of just under 7,300%.
Maryland has 116 total companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000, with a total impact of 8,286 jobs added; 76 have appeared on the list previously and 11 are new additions.
