Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation Announces Vice President of Business Development
Montgomery County, MD — The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) today announced Danny Chavez as the new Vice President of Business Development.
With more than 12 years of experience spanning multiple states and international markets, Chavez has secured over $2 billion in capital investment and supported the creation of more than 7,900 jobs through high-impact projects across the United States and 21 countries. He is widely recognized for his expertise in corporate attraction, incentive strategy, navigating complex legislative environments, and leveraging data-driven decision-making to deliver results.
Chavez is the co-founder of Incenti, an AI-powered platform designed to modernize economic development by streamlining data, workflows, and reporting—demonstrating his commitment to innovation and forward-thinking solutions in the field.
Throughout his career, Chavez has earned numerous accolades, including Innovation Advocate of the Year by D CEO Magazine (2021), recognition in The Dallas 500 (2022), selection to the Forbes Young Entrepreneur Council (2017), and being named one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers by Consultant Connect (2021).
