Dr. Vikram Manikonda is currently a Professor of the Practice in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering. Prior to this role, he served as Chief Technology Officer at BlueHalo, where he led product and technology strategy and drove cross‑portfolio collaboration across the Defense, Intelligence, and Space & Products sectors. Before joining BlueHalo, Dr. Manikonda spent 23 years at Intelligent Automation Inc., ultimately serving as President and CEO. Dr. Manikonda currently chairs the Industry Advisory Board for the Matrix Lab at the University of Maryland. He previously served on the Board of Visitors for the A. James Clark School of Engineering and chaired the Strategic Advisory Council for the Institute for Systems Research. He is a recipient of the University of Maryland Clark School’s Glenn L. Martin Medal.
