Aaron Bogage is MCEDC’s Senior Economic Development Specialist for Technology & Venture Capital, where he works with high-growth technology companies and investors to identify strategic opportunities for expansion. His work spans sectors including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, defense, and climate technology.

He advises founders, executives, and venture capital firms in the technology sector on site selection, access to capital, and market entry. Aaron also supports major corporate expansions and relocations, helping companies make informed decisions about where to scale, hire, and invest. His work also supports Montgomery County’s position as a leading destination for high-growth technology companies and startups focused on long-term growth and innovation.

Aaron is a member of the International Economic Development Council and the Maryland Economic Development Association. He also serves as a member of the ICON Awards Committee at the Maryland Tech Council. A Montgomery County native, Aaron holds a degree in Economics from the University of Maryland. Prior to MCEDC, Aaron served as Director of Campus Strategy & Operations at TAMID Group, supporting initiatives connecting international technology startups with members for consulting and investment projects.
