The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation Announces Jennifer Hsin as New Board Chair 

Rockville, MD—The Board of Directors of the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) has elected Jennifer Hsin, Partner at CNF Investments, LLC and Lecturer at the University of Maryland, as its new Chair. Hsin assumes the position from Elana Fine, Executive Consultant for Hightower Advisors, who served as MCEDC’s Chair since July 1, 2024. Dr. Anne Khademian, Executive Director of the Universities at Shady Grove will replace Hsin as Vice Chair. Dr. Ruth Cheng, recently reappointed, will join MCEDC’s executive committee, which will be comprised of:

• Jennifer Hsin, Partner at CNF Investments, LLC and Lecturer at the University of Maryland, Chair;
• Dr. Anne Khademian, Executive Director of the Universities at Shady Grove, Vice Chair;
• Devang Shah, Managing Partner, Law Office of Shah and Kishore, Treasurer;
• Dr. Ruth Cheng, President & CEO, ATCC, Secretary.

MCEDC Board of Directors members Pete Briskman and Jim Soltesz are in the process of being reappointed. The organization will also welcome Dr. Vikram Manikonda, Professor of the Practice, ECE Department, University of Maryland at College Park, as a new member.
