Cheri Freeman-Watkins is President and Co-Founder of Results One, LLC, a consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., with an office in Silver Spring, Maryland. The firm partners with organizations to help them strengthen leadership, improve workplace culture, and achieve measurable, mission-aligned results. Its services include strategic consulting, executive coaching, leadership development, organizational assessments, and proprietary digital assessment tools that give leaders clearer insight into their organizations.

A trial attorney with more than 20 years of experience in Washington, D.C., and Maryland, Cheri built her consulting practice on a hard-won insight from the courtroom: unseen biases and assumptions quietly shape decisions, culture, and outcomes. That understanding now anchors her work helping leaders spot blind spots, ask sharper questions, and lead with greater self-awareness — which she views not as a soft skill, but as a core leadership competency.

Her areas of expertise include leadership development, organizational culture, conflict resolution, sexual harassment prevention, and accessibility. She also serves as General Counsel for Collaborative Solutions for Communities (CSC), a D.C. nonprofit advancing education, workforce development, and housing initiatives for underserved communities.

Cheri holds a B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University and a J.D. from Howard University School of Law. She is a Harvard-trained mediator with certifications in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (Cornell University), Culture Facilitation (Veritas), and ADA compliance.

She serves on the boards of the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) and the Montgomery County Black Collective, and is a member of The BOW Collective. She previously served on the board of Dress for Success Washington, D.C., and is an alumna of Leadership Montgomery’s Senior Leadership Program and the WACIF Ascend Thrive Accelerator.
