EagleBank Reaffirms Commitment to Montgomery County

The company, based in Montgomery County for 25 years, is staying in Bethesda as it relocates its headquarters. It will make its new home at In-Rel Properties’ 7500 Old Georgetown Road, reaffirming its commitment to the county. The bank, one of the largest community banks in the region, will move to the new location in late 2025.

“We are excited to establish a new headquarters that strengthens our connection to the community we proudly serve,” said Susan Riel, President and CEO of EagleBank. “This move is more than just a relocation – it is an investment in our commitment to Maryland. As we continue to grow, our ‘Relationships First’ approach will empower our teams to work together in ways that directly benefit our customers and neighbors. Our new space will be the foundation for the collaborative, community-centered growth that defines EagleBank’s future.”

Bethesda is part of Montgomery County’s thriving business ecosystem. Since 2019, the county has attracted over $38 billion in investments across diverse industries. “EagleBank has been an integral part of our community in Montgomery County for over 25 years,” said Bill Tompkins, president and CEO of the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC). “Their decision to deepen their investment in the county highlights the strength of our local economy and their continued commitment to the community. We look forward to working together to create even greater opportunities for growth and success in the years to come.”

The move will consolidate EagleBank’s operations into a state-of-the-art office environment. The new headquarters will not only serve as a hub for collaboration and innovation but also as a testament to the bank’s dedication to the people and businesses it serves.

As EagleBank moves forward, it will remain firmly rooted in Montgomery County, building on its legacy of delivering exceptional financial services across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
