THE WHITE FLINT SUBMARKET
An intensive, community-engaged planning and rezoning process has led to the adoption of a new Sector Plan—one that embraces the development of urban, high-rise, richly amenitized, mixed-use projects within a walkable distance of the White Flint Metro Station.
We’ve built more than $1 billion in private real estate development projects in the submarket, with another $500 million planned in the near future. To support the ambitions of the Sector Plan, the County has invested over $150 million in public infrastructure upgrades to date, and has included an additional $325 million in the currently approved Capital Improvements Budget.
