Frankie was most recently Vice President, Knowledge Management and Development at the International Economic Development Council. Frankie has a deep background in economics and research. In addition, she has taught economics at the graduate level, and began her career as a journalist. At IEDC, Frankie helped design and launch the Equity Fellow Program and directed IEDC’s flagship project in equity, the Equitable Economic Development Playbook, of which MCEDC was in the inaugural cohort.
Frankie has a BA in Urban Studies and Economics (double major) from Stanford University, an MA in Applied Economics, and a PhD in Political Science, both from Johns Hopkins University.
